A
lifelong love of Asian Antiques...
I was
born in Penang, Malaysia of Burmese and Chinese parents. I studied
in Penang and later in Vancouver, Canada where I completed a interior
design course at Langara Institute.
My decision
to launch the business was born out of requests I regularly received
to assist friends and family with their interior design projects,
sourcing unique pieces for their homes.
People
now travel a lot and to all parts of the world experiencing other
cultures that stimulate their interest in the diverse contrasts of
art, furniture, antique pieces. They have discovered that they can
blend east and west design into their homes. A strong influence of
Feng Shui is an important factor in achieving this balance.
Jennifer
Goh Design opened in May 2003 and has proved to be a welcome resource
for private buyers and interior designers looking to source that ‘special
piece’.
The store
also carries a selection of European paintings and accessories to
complement the Asian pieces.
I travel
on a regular basis to Asia and North America to source unique pieces.
The quality and value we can offer compares favourably to those of
dealers in Europe and America.
